Florida’s battle over the map of Congress is heated

Talahassee, Fla. (WFLA) – The fight over rezoning is intensifying. Florida Democrats are fighting back against the DeSantis administration’s potential plan to redraw maps of the state’s legislature.

Florida Attorney General James Usmiere wrote to the state Department of Commerce, saying that at least 700,000 people were hiding in the 2020 census.
“I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but every state that made the shortchange was a Republican state, and every state that got more was a Democrat state. That’s just the truth,” DeSantis said.

But Democrats see this as a political stunt.
“They know they’re losing the medium term. This is a clear corruption in the Republican Party and it’s a shame we have to re-establish the bill for political stunts from Ron DeSantis and this administration, as taxpayers in our nation and our nation.”

Fried wants people to know that Democrats will continue to fight fire with fire.

“If you want to hold responsibility everywhere, it’s Ron DeSantis, it’s just Ron DeSantis, and the fact that he’s creating these smoke and mirrors shows you how dishonest this argument is,” Fried said.

But Republicans will turn their responsibility back to Democrats.
“It’s clear that they’re getting crazy because they’re realising the jigs are up. They wanted to plan a deep seating plan, open borders, kill these people, spread them out to the sanctuary community, and ultimately gain a greater and more disproportionate election power,” Attorney General Uthmeier said.

Uthmeier and Desantis stand behind President Donald Trump. President Donald Trump says immigrants who live illegally in the United States should not be counted in the new census.
“Think about that. People who aren’t here as legal citizens don’t have the right to vote, but states like California do disproportionately well when votes are distributed on election night.”
So far, the governor’s administration has been taking part in the constituency, the state Senate is open to conversation, and the House has already put together a select committee on issues.

As for the Florida Democrats, they plan to continue to challenge these efforts.
