The vehicle performance data provider 0-60 specification reveals the most common car brands held in US states, bringing Toyota to the top.
The analysis examined the average monthly search volume over the past year for 105 vehicle manufacturers in all 50 states, determining which ones are most popular in each.
Toyota is the most impressive car brand in 20 states, with an average monthly search volume of over 4.2 million.
In Florida, Toyota leads with an average of 306,665 searches. Toyota’s popularity in diverse regions highlights its widespread appeal among American consumers.

Second place was Tesla in 297,968 searches. Third, there was Ford in a search of 203,429. No. 4 was a search of 202,173 Honda, and No. 5 was a Mercedes-Benz, with 183,909.
This data shows an increasing interest in electric vehicles, and Tesla is prominently characterized by search rankings for various states. This suggests increased consumer curiosity and consideration of electric vehicles.
Additionally, traditional automakers such as Toyota, Ford and Honda maintain a strong search volume that highlights their continued relevance and popularity among American consumers.
