JetBlue expands its services to new Florida cities and the Caribbean route

JetBlue is expanding its winter 2025 schedule and announcing a wide range of expansions across Florida and major international markets.

Starting this December, JetBlue will begin its first non-stop flight to Vero Beach, offering daily services from both Boston Logan International (BOS) and New York JFK (JFK). At the same time, airlines are reintroducing services to Daytona Beach. This also features daily flights from BOS and JFK, but has recorded a return after nearly seven years.

From mid-December to the end of April, seasonal flights begin from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to both Tampa and Fort Myers, making it easier to access Florida’s Gulf Coast for Long Island travelers.

JetBlue has also increased international connectivity from Florida, launched daily services from Tampa to Punta Cana, and seasonal services from Fort Lauderdale to Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic.

The airline is further strengthening its Boston products with new daily flights to St. Thomas (St. Marten) in Liberia (Costa Rica) and Nassau in the Bahamas. Additionally, seasonal Saturday-only flights have been added to Grand Cayman and Bridgetown’s Barbados.

These changes reflect JetBlue’s strategy to leverage its Northeastern base and provide good service to leisure travelers seeking warm weather escapes. “Florida continues to be a unique combination of JetBlue’s low fares and great service resonance,” according to Dave Jane, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.
