New research reveals the worst customer reviews of the American food chain.
We analyzed customer ratings for more than 200 restaurants on TripAdvisor to identify the restaurants with the lowest ratings. Those with the lowest average score were considered the worst food chain in the United States.
Nationally, KFC is on the list as the worst rating food chain. According to TripAdvisor, customers have received “bad service, bad food” and “very bad management attitude.”
McDonald’s is second. Burger King is in third place. Reviews claim that the restaurant “no variety” and “the floor was greasy and smooth.”
The church Texas chicken is fourth. No. 5 was claimed by Long John Silver, with customers suing “terrifying food” and claiming that the visit was a “complete waste of time.”
Taco Bueno is in 6th place. The food chain in 7th place is Taco Bell. In the review, customers said they “will not come again” and the restaurant “smashed the food.”
The Hardies will be in 8th place. “This place is a disaster,” another said the food was “hard and baked,” several customer reviews said.
Finally, jointly ranked 9th is Pizza Hut and Sonic Drive-In.
In Florida, Long John Silver has the lowest rating, according to Floridians.

Long John Silver was the lowest rated Florida chain. Long John Silver received an average customer rating of 2.60 out of five. However, this was followed by Popeye, the chicken chain, with the Floridians giving the chain a rating of 2.98 out of 5, followed by a Red Robin at 2.99 out of 5.
