Despite the fact that many shoppers have a lot to offer, there are some new cars that many shoppers tend to overlook. These hidden gems feature a special combination of attractive qualities and can make an excellent choice for those familiar with whom they want to stand out from the oceans of mainstream vehicles. Certain slow sales cars do not get the right respect for styling, vehicle type, brand image, etc. Edmunds explores five hidden gems and the incredible factors that make them shine. Our choice is ordered at a starting price including destination fee.
Hyundai Ionik 6
The Ioniq 6 is an electric sedan that does almost everything right. It’s sporty and fun to drive, but it’s comfortable, with a smooth ride with rough dips and potholes. Inside, there is a well-built interior that is easy to use. The Ioniq 6 promotes a long EPA estimate range of up to 342 miles. It is also one of the fastest charging EVs on the market when using a powerful fast charging machine.
The downside of Electric Hyundai is mostly minor, but there is one major exception. Its styling is attracting attention for good and bad reasons, not for everyone. However, the styling has been updated for the upcoming 2026 model year.
IONIQ 6 Starting Price: $39,045
Honda Ridge Line

Ridgelines can be the ideal track depending on your priorities. If you are planning on towing heavy loads frequently and tackling serious off-road trails, other medium trucks like the Ford Ranger are better suited. But if not, you need to consider the ridgeline. It’s more comfortable and has more assistant wards and handles than its rivals.
The towing ability of the Ridgeline is certainly sufficient for most applications, such as pulling small camper trailers and toy carriers. It also has clever features such as a lockable in-bed trunk and folding and swaying tailgates on the sides. The bed is large enough for a 4-foot-wide plywood sheet without placing it on the wheels.
Ridgeline starting price: $41,600
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Mitsubishi doesn’t sell as many vehicles as huge brands like Chevrolet and Toyota. However, the Outlander PHEV is surprisingly capable and versatile. This is a plug-in hybrid SUV that offers three rows of seats and standard all-wheel drive. If you are charging regularly, travel to gas stations is rare thanks to the long 38-mile electric range of the Outlander Phev. When the battery goes low you get a significant 26 mpg total.
The third row is folded, so the Outlander PHEV has plenty of cargo space. When it’s happening, you have room for seven passengers, but the third row is big enough for a child. As it is a plug-in hybrid, the starting price is not low, but Mitsubishi is equipped and the top SEL trim level is very luxurious.
2025 Outlander PHEV Starting Price: $42,040
Toyota Crown

The crown is a relatively new Toyota, with its unique design turning its head. Its styling is similar to that of a sedan, but the crown has a raised ride that looks like a crossover SUV. Ah, it’s a hybrid too. The base engine is a fuel shipper that combines 41 mpg estimated by EPA. The optional hybrid Max engine produces an impressive 340 horsepower for quick acceleration, but reduces fuel economy by combining 30 mpg.
Inside, the crown features a cozy interior with a large display screen, spacious seating and a comfortable ride. But this all costs you. The Crown is expensive, especially for top platinum trim with a luxurious hybrid sedan, with a hybrid max engine.
2025 Crown Start Price: $42,575
Genesis G90

The G90 has everything you need for a large, luxurious sedan, except for branded cachets. The Genesis is still relatively new in the gorgeous world, but its vehicles, especially the flagship G90, should not be overlooked. A luxurious cabin with the promotional style, power, extraordinary comfort and excellent fit and finish of this Korean sedan. Some rivals offer the same thing, but paying requires arms and legs. And if you think the G90 is skinning the feature, you’re wrong.
The e-supercharger version of the top 3.5T comes with many features and does not offer optional features. This includes many features that cost thousands more than their gorgeous rivals. Most notably, front and rear massage seats, a 26-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a large package of advanced driver AIDS, and an air suspension that can adapt to road defects scan the road ahead.
Starting price: $91,050
