TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) – A transgender woman has been arrested after telling Florida State Capitol police she intends to use the women’s toilets to break the law, arrest affidavit said.
The report mentioned the suspect in their legal name, Luke Reinzgen. The 20-year-old Illinois resident who has passed through “Mercy” previously broke the law as “transgender women” and sent a letter stating that he intends to use the women’s bathroom across from House Room 222C inside the Tallahassee building.

The Capitol Police of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement had received the letter before Rainzgen arrived, the documents said.
On the afternoon of March 19th, Rheintgen arrived on the second floor of the House Office Building. One officer and investigator told her that Rheintgen would be stopped outside the woman’s toilet and would issue a trespass warning if she entered the toilet.
The affidavit replied that Rheintgen admitted their warning but when she entered the bathroom she said, “I’m here to break the law.”
The female officer follows her and says she has been issued a warning for all women’s toilets in the Capitol Tower and House Office Building. However, Rheintgen told authorities that she disagreed with the law and did not want to leave.
Rheintgen was escorted and arrested for trespassing on the property after warning and taken to Leon County Detention Facility.

“I wanted people to actually see the absurdity of this law,” Rhinezgen told The Associated Press. “If I were a criminal, I washed my hands so it would be very difficult for me to lead a normal life. That’s so crazy.”
It is unclear why Rheintgen, a native of Illinois, was in Florida at Capitol Building. WFLA.com contacted FDLE for explanation.
