TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – If you take off from Florida’s Space Coast on Monday evening, you may see a United Launch Alliance rocket in the sky.
The Atlas V Rocket is scheduled to be released from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex-41 between 7pm and 9pm
Rocket will deliver the first large batch of Amazon’s Project Kuiper satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). ULA and Amazon were scheduled to launch satellites earlier this month, but the launch was ultimately scrubbed due to weather conditions.
The safest city in Tampa Bay in the state
Project Kuiper’s mission is to use more than 3,200 LEO satellite constellations to provide a fast and reliable internet to customers around the world, including people from unserved and unserved communities.
According to the ULA, the rocket may be lifted and appear northeasterly towards space. The rocket can be visible in the Tampa Bay Area about 90 seconds after launch.

According to ULA’s launch visibility map, the rocket could also be visible in the East Coast and in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
Launch Officer Brian Belson said the weather appears to be a good fit for a rocket countdown. There is a 70% chance of release.
WFLA will live stream the boot when it occurs. You can watch the release on the players listed above.
