Tallahassee, FL (WFLA) -Gov. RonDesantis expressed his dissatisfaction with state legislators Thursday.
Desantis does not like to investigate Money Trail, which links his wife’s nonprofit Hope Florida to the Political Action Committee. That PAC was used to combat the legalization of marijuana.
House members have been chasing money for about a month, saying that the state attorney general calls shots and is moving cash illegally.
The lawmakers met last during the “Florida Hope” investigation. State Sen. Alex Andrade (R-Pensacola) said Thursday that their work is being done and that it will be up to the FBI to investigate further.

This week, executive directors for drug drug Amy Ronschausen’s society, including Florida Chamber of Commerce Mark Wilson’s president and CEO, Hope Florida Foundation legal counsel Jeff Aaron, and related nonprofit members, are all to be questioned by state lawmakers. Each refused an invitation to appear at the Capitol just minutes before the commission began.
Rep. Andredo said he may know that Florida Commerce members are misusing the Medicaid fund.
“As the Florida Chamber of Commerce, I’m sure I’m very concerned,” Andredo said.
The investigation is divided into mystical money trails state legislators believe it is a taxpayer’s misuse of dollars. At the heart of lawmakers’ concerns was Attorney General James Usmier, then Chief of DeSantis.
“I wasn’t involved in the settlement negotiations related to Florida’s hopeful contributions, and when I see that, everything looks legal,” Ag Uthmeier said.

“What he says to ordinary Floridians – we should thank him for his money laundering and wire fraud mandate, as he did it for the kids. I think that’s inappropriate,” Rep. Andredo said.

Over the past few weeks, members of the Florida House of Representatives have repeatedly and concluded to the press that Attorney General James Usmier has committed multiple federal and state crimes. These ridiculous accusations are false and not based on judicial findings or records of evidence. We know that political stances are typical in the legislative process, but unfounded accusations by members of Congress about the Florida Attorney General who violate the law not only outweigh the proper politeness among Florida officials, but also presents potential legal consequences for representatives.
While it is easy to argue criminal misconduct on television and on left-wing newspapers, representatives should note that he is a member of a Florida bar and must adhere to professional and ethical norms. And those norms generally discourage him from accusations of wild honour and losses where he was lobbed to the Attorney General.
While the representatives are wasting time robbing the law on behalf of his Megaweed Corporation, James is working with Ice, DOJ and the FBI to destroy and expel criminal aliens from our country.
Governor DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis were in St. Augustine on Thursday morning. He touted the success of “Hope Florida” and dispelled the investigation as a political attack, saying the organization’s mission was misunderstood.

“When you see some of these political attacks, it’s because people know this is effective. That’s because they’re threatened by this model. Some people are politically threatened because the first lady was good at doing this,” Gov. DeSantis said.
“What we tried to do is really redesign and rethink how we could really help someone,” Casey DeSantis said.
Is this the end of the story when the House members conclude their investigation?
“We are not judges or prosecutors. We are confident that James Usmier and Jeff Aaron are engaged in a conspiracy to commit money laundering and wire fraud, and played a role in the Medicaid fund’s $10 million misuse.
