Israel had proposed a 45-day ceasefire in Gaza as it could allow the release of hostages and launch indirect talks to end the war.
The Hamasterolist group has rejected Israel’s latest peace proposal.
In a speech aired Thursday, Haril Al Hayya, leader of Hamas’ negotiation team, said he disagreed with a more partial deal with Israel, and instead demanded an inclusive thing to end the war and trade Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
Israel was seeking the release of 10 living hostages in exchange for a 45-day ceasefire, according to the Israeli era. Israel has also offered to free 1,231 Palestinian security prisoners and resume humanitarian invasions into Gaza, according to the outlet.
The terrorist group still owns 59 Israeli people, with up to 24 people being believed to be alive.
Israel is seeking the return of the bodies of the dead hostages.
Hamas has already rejected one of Israel’s conditions. In his speech, Haiya accused Israel of offering mutual proposals that had “impossible circumstances.”
Hamas released 38 hostages under the ceasefire that began on January 19th. In March, Israeli forces resumed their position and air attacks in Gaza, abandoning the ceasefire after Hamas rejected the proposal to extend the ceasefire without ending the war.
Israeli officials say the attack will continue until the remaining 59 hostages are released and Gaza is demilitarized. Hamas says he would release the hostages only as part of a deal to end the war, and he refused the request for disarming.
In response, James Hewitt, a spokesman for the National Security Council, said, “Hamas’ comments show that they are not interested in peace and are interested in perpetual violence. The conditions made by the Trump administration have not changed.
Egyptian mediators tried to revive the January ceasefire agreement, which expired in March, as the two sides failed to agree in the second phase.
During the two-month suspension of the battle, 25 live hostages and eight more bodies were returned to Israel in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that Israel will no longer accept Hamas as an administrative or military force at the border.
Netanyahu’s continued attack on Hamas is supported by members of his Hardline Union.
Meanwhile, members of the Israeli people have become more and more calm since the war resumed.
According to the Israeli era, polls show that the majority of Israelis support the end of the war in exchange for the release of all remaining hostages.
The war began on October 7, 2023 in Hamas, killing 1,200 people, most of which killed Israeli civilians, wounding thousands and taking 251 hostages.
Israel retaliated by attacking the Gaza Strip.
In the subsequent 15 months of war, a war that was broken only by an eight-day ceasefire in November 2023, densely packed areas were destroyed by the war.
Approximately 50,000 people have been reported to have died. Israel says almost half of them were Hamas fighters.

Many of Gaza buildings have been destroyed, and their population has been repeatedly uprooted as about 2 million escaped to avoid combat or responded to warnings of Israeli attacks.
Israel resumed its fight against airstrikes on the night of March 18-19, targeting much of Hamas’ remaining leadership.
Its army has reoccupied land, including strategic corridors that divide Gaza between Egyptian and Gaza cities.
The Israeli forces said this time they would remain among them, unlike the first 15 months of the war, to block the movement of the arms and Hamas fighters.
