A Kremlin spokesman reiterated the claim that Russian forces “will carry out strikes with only military and paramilitary targets.”

“A scary thing”
The British, German and Italian leaders all condemned the strike called “war crimes” by Friedrich Merz, who was on hold in Germany. “There is no bigger example of poor: targets and planned war crimes,” he said in an interview with German ARD broadcasting station. Merz, widely expected to be elected prime minister early next month, has expressed support for providing German long-range torus missiles to Ukraine, with the aim of increasing Kiev’s deterrent capabilities. Germany’s resigning prime minister, Olaf Scholz, said the reported attacks helped show how Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the ceasefire proposal. “These attacks show that Russia appears to be ready for peace,” he wrote in a social media post. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump described the reported Russian attacks on Smee as “terrifying.” Without elaborating, he said: “I was told (the Russian) had made a mistake.” In March, during separate talks with Russian and Ukrainian officials, US negotiators brokered a limited ceasefire aimed at ending hostility in the Black Sea. In the context of these lectures, both Moscow and Kiev committed to abide by a 30-day moratorium on attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure. However, since then, both sides have accused each other of repeatedly violating the conditions of a ceasefire, raising questions about the effectiveness of US peaceful efforts. On April 14, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslau Sikorsky, when asked about the reported attack on Russian Smie, he said he hoped the US understood Putin as “ock-laughing at their good intentions.” “Ukraine unconditionally agreed to a ceasefire over a month ago,” Sikorski said for a meeting of the EU foreign ministers when he arrived in Luxembourg. “The heinous attack on Kryvyi Rih (April 4) and Sumy is the answer to Russia’s ock ha ha.” Sikorski hopes the US will receive the “right decision” in response to reported missile attacks.
