TAMPA, Fla. (WHTM) — The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a voluntary recall of Trader Joe’s Hot Honey Mustard Dressing, sold in 17 states and Washington, DC.
California-based Creative Foods, which produced Trader Joe’s dressing, first issued a recall on March 30, notifying consumers of undeclared allergens of the product.

“The incorrect label does not include allergen callouts for peanuts, soy, sesame, or wheat,” reads a copy of the recall notice issued by the FDA.
Dressings were sold in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. This item was also distributed at Trader Joe’s location in Washington, DC.
Customers involved can identify products recalled on the date of use on May 27, 2025 (05/27/2025). This is printed on the bottle. Consumers are instructed to throw away the dressing for a refund or return it to Trader Joe.
According to Recall’s notification, additional concerns will also be directed towards fresh, creative foods, allowing 888-223-2127 to reach between Monday and Friday.
Despite the labeling accident, no adverse effects had been reported as of March 30th, according to Fresh Creative Food.
