Universal Orlando has opened its second hotel near the spectacular Universe theme park. Terra Luna welcomed its first paid client this week.
The new resort is a twin brother with a Stelanova that opened in January. Both have 750 rooms, a shiny tiled exterior and an interplanetary atmosphere. The two hotels line up along Universal Boulevard and are divided into Kirkman Road, just south of the epic. Terra Luna is the west of the duo.
Terra Luna’s room sleeps four guests in two queen-sized beds, curved windows inspired by the space station. Some rooms are heading to a new theme park, which is scheduled to open on May 22nd.
Amenities include an Omega Cafe and a dining market, Luna Bar in the lobby, Moonrise Grill by the pool and Moonrise Bar. Terra Luna also has a fitness centre, game rooms, an outdoor hot tub, a fire pit and an interior Universal Orlando Resort store.

Terra Luna and Stella Nova are jointly owned and run by Loews Hotels. The third epic hotel, called Helios Grand, has 500 rooms and is located right next to the theme park and has a private entrance to the attraction. It is scheduled to open in a spectacular universe in late May. This will bring Universal’s Property Room Count to 11,000 rooms, spread across 11 hotels.
