Eight retired colors, including Raw Umber and Blizzard Blue, are back at the Crayola Experience Million Crayon Giveaway, which begins later this month.
Participants can choose to include long-failed shades along with 70 other colors as part of the free 32 count box on the attraction pick Your Pack Wall. Among the revived choices is the dandelion, which retired in 2017. It also has no circulation since 2003, with magic mint (fluorescent green), mulberry and blizzard blue, along with orange red, violet blue, lemon yellow and raw amber (earth brown).
Crayola says it will be the first time in the company’s history to date back to the 1880s, reclaiming its retired colour collection and only available for a limited time only.

The gifts are free, but you must register at crayolaexperience.com/orlando. The site asks users to choose the date and location of the visit. Registrants must be at least 18 years old and sign-ups are based on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a limit of two boxes per household.
Orlando’s Crayola Experience attractions are located within Florida Mall. There is also a location in Easton, Pennsylvania. Plano, Texas; Chandler, Arizona. At the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. The Crayola Experience Outlet offers hands-on creative activities that explore art and technology. A retail store is attached. Visitors can purchase limited edition, retired colored products from the store.
The gift date will be held until March 31st – aka National Crayon Day – May 23rd, with consumables continuing.
