WASHINGTON, DC (WFLA) – Senator Ashley Moody has proposed legislation to move NASA headquarters to Florida’s space shore.
The integration of the efficiency of aerospace programs in the Canaveral Act has been submitted to the Act proposing the transfer of NASA headquarters.
NASA plans to rebuild its Washington headquarters, but the current building was filled with 15% capacity, an example of meaningless government waste.
“Florida is a leader in space exploration and aerospace innovation. By establishing NASA’s headquarters within the space coast, we bridge the bureaucratic gaps from top to bottom and connect stakeholders. Florida is the gateway to space, and this common sense proposal will save taxpayers money and promote workforward workforward innovation in private spaces to be responsible for The Pool Workforward innovation in civilian space. As we’ve seen in Washington over the past four years, we need to ensure that new buildings are not empty, but full of employees.
According to Senator Moody, Florida is a global leader in space exploration and is the ideal location for the skilled aerospace workforce that will bring rocket launches, partnerships with space companies and collaborations to NASA.
Senator Rick Scott is a co-host of the Cape Canaveral Act.
“NASA’s headquarters doesn’t have a better place than Florida’s Space Coast. Florida’s Space Coast will innovate the brightest mind in our country and help America reach the stars. Moving to Florida will not only save Americans’ taxes, but streamline operations in this critical industry in this critical industry to reach the highest level of work for force with private partners. We look forward to the rapid passage of our laws today and the NASA to the best of the nation!” Senator Rick Scott said.
NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the Seaport facility in Port Canaveral, and Florida Space headquarters are all located in Cape Canaveral.
