Elon Musk claimed that social media platforms were being targeted in “massive cyberattacks” hours after a string of Monday outages that X has become unavailable to thousands of users.

According to the tracking website downdetector.com, there was a 10am spike that spiked at 6am and 10am on Monday, with over 40,000 users reporting that they are unable to access the platform.
The sustained halt that lasted at least an hour began at noon, causing the heaviest disruption along the US coast.
Downdetector.com said 56% of issues were reported on the X app, and 33% were reported on the website.
In March 2023, the social media platform known as Twitter experienced glitches for over an hour as the link stopped working. Some users were unable to log in and images were not loaded to others.
