WEBB, Ala. (WDHN) — In a miracle, an Alabama family finally received the phone call that could save their daughter’s life.
Eight-year-old Caitlin Mosley had been battling stage 4 kidney failure for the past nine months as her family desperately waited for a transplant.

The Mosleys, who were in Orlando for a wish trip to Walt Disney World, finally received a call at 5:05 p.m. Thursday that they had a potential donor, and another call at 3:30 a.m. Friday, confirming the kidney was a match.
The family drove overnight from Orlando to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where Caitlin underwent the transplant.

Caitlin will be in the hospital for about two weeks recovering, and her family asked for their continued prayers that everything will go well.
