BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) – Four people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place at last month’s “peace” event.
According to the Boynton Beach Police Department, gunshots occurred at a community event held at Sarasim’s Park on July 5th.
Police have identified three casualties in the shooting and decided that all of them would suffer non-life-threatening injuries.
The Boynton Beach Police Department has arrested 19-year-old Jamalion Petty. Kenneth Hollis, 25; Javon Johnson, 19; and D’Andre Leger, 20.
All four were charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravating the battery with a firearm and ejecting the firearm in public. Hollis received an additional fee for possession of a firearm from a convicted felon.
Additionally, the Boynton Beach Police Department said seven guns were seized in the arrest, and more arrests are expected.
