TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Mini pastries for sale in Florida have made 18 people sick after the salmonella outbreak, the FDA announced.

The sweet cream brand mini pastries from Best Buy Date from June 17th to November 15th, 2025 have been recalled.

These mini pastries were distributed in Florida, New Jersey, New York and Penrivania to foodservice locations such as hotel cafes, bakeries, institutions and restaurants.

As of March 14, 18 people had been infected with salmonella outbreaks from seven states, according to the FDA.

One person is hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.

Salmonella symptoms usually occur within 12 to 72 hours of eating contaminated food, and symptoms usually last for 4 to 7 days, the FDA said.

Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps.

According to the FDA, customers have been notified of receiving the recalled product.
