Over 80 years of Osceola County tradition will return this weekend with fast-paced horseback riding for Backing Bulls and community entertainment.
The 155th Silver Spurs rodeo will be in Kissimmee this weekend. Introducing the seven classic Rodeo events to your family. The largest rodeo in the eastern state of Mississippi, dating back to 1944, will celebrate the continuation of its agricultural tradition at Osceola Heritage Park on May 30-31.
On both nights, the Silver Spurs Riding Club honors the sacrifice of military members by giving veterans and active duty veterans (proof of service) a complimentary hot dog or burger along with a drink.
“For over 80 years, our fans have been by our side. It is because of their support that we can give back to the community we love.” “It is a real honor to recognize and give back to the service members that Silver Spurs Club has given us so much every summer. Serving those who have served our country is one of our most meaningful traditions.”

The Rodeo weekend begins on Thursday at the Miss Silver Spurs pageant at Silver Spurs Arena and will be held at an event that is free and open to the public. The Silver Spurs Club created the title of Miss Silver Spurs, served as a rodeo ambassador, and shared the club’s traditions while visiting community events and other rodeos.
At the rodeo, which kicks off from 7:30pm to 31pm on May 30th, fans will be able to watch junior barrel racers and junior bull riders compete.
As a charity, Silver Spurs Riding Club donates proceeds from ticket sales to support scholarships, cancer support, military organizations, foster parents and more.
